Rob Ryan is an artist from london who focuses on really delicate illustrations that he cuts out from paper. I first noticed him at my friends house where they have one of his original pieces on their walls as they are, amazingly, family friends. Then when i picked up the London Fashion Week version of Elle in the summer the cover was a limited edition cover from Rob Ryan. He's constantly mentioned in magasines such as Stella, Vogue and Elle and has become really successful in the past few years.His art work is very unique and instantly recognisable, i love how intricate it all is, and you can definitely see how much attention to detail he puts into everything. Absolutely LOVE Rob Ryan's work- it always astounds me each time I see a different piece of work how intricate each design would be to create, and how much time and effort went into creating it.
ReplyDeleteHe's got an exhibition on at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at the moment, until Feb 21st. Cassie and I were planning on going after the holidays as I'd really like to see his work - you should come too and see if other people would be interested as his work is incredible!
