I took some of these photos a while back on a compact camera randomly in the kitchen of a cabbage. Geekily, it reminded me of the design theory lecture I had on fractals.


... so I was quite surprised to see that a Dutch (it must be in the blood) design couple, Scholten and Baijings, also took an interest in the natural design of vegetables too creating these. On first inspection they look like photos of vegetables, possibly a few days old, but very convincing, after a closer look you can see they have been intricately hand-sewn. They're not the most exciting new must-have, must-know-about designs to be blogging about but i think they're actually quite lovely and delicate, and obviously drew my attention after I took my own photos a few weeks ago...
